Golden A' Design Award Winner 2021
ELTO Consultancy's GTR and Teleport Office emerges from the contemporary tradition of narrative-driven workplace design, where environments transcend mere functionality to become immersive experiential landscapes that embody organizational identity and aspirational values. The space appears to draw upon the rich visual heritage of mid-twentieth-century futurism, particularly the optimistic technological aesthetics that characterized space-age and jet-age design movements, while reinterpreting these references through contemporary material sensibilities and spatial strategies. The compositional achievement lies in the masterful orchestration of chromatic temperature contrast, setting the energetic warmth of saturated orange against the cool restraint of industrial gray, creating visual tension that activates the elongated corridor format and sustains visual interest across substantial spatial depth. The integration of sculptural elements demonstrates sophisticated environmental curation, with the circular turbine-inspired portals functioning simultaneously as spatial punctuation, thematic reinforcement, and sources of ambient illumination that warm the seating alcoves with golden luminosity. The suspended kinetic installations introduce organic counterpoint to the geometric rigor of the architectural envelope, their abstracted avian or aeronautical forms suggesting movement and flight even in stillness. Technical merit manifests in the precision of the linear lighting installation, the careful calibration of surface finishes to modulate light reflection and absorption, and the thoughtful integration of furniture elements that honor mid-century modern proportions while serving contemporary workplace needs. The floor markings transform circulation into theatrical experience, inviting occupants to perceive their daily movements through the lens of runway drama or racing circuit excitement. This work invites contemplation of how environments shape consciousness and how thematic coherence in spatial design might foster organizational culture and creative energy.
