Silver A' Design Award Winner 2022
Working within the tradition of experiential brand environments, this product exposition demonstrates how spatial design can elevate commercial presentation into an immersive aesthetic experience that engages visitors on multiple sensory levels. The designer appears to have drawn upon contemporary trends in color psychology and atmospheric retail design, deploying a carefully calibrated coral pink palette that suggests warmth, sophistication, and approachability while providing a distinctive backdrop that distinguishes the space within a crowded exhibition context. The architectural framework employs bold geometric volumes that create a sense of enclosure and intimacy despite the open exhibition hall setting, transforming a temporary commercial installation into something approaching permanent gallery architecture. The central portal with its curved LED threshold may reference both classical triumphal arches and contemporary portal aesthetics, suggesting passage into a curated world of design refinement. The treatment of the floor as a reflective surface doubles the spatial experience and creates a sense of floating or hovering that elevates the displayed products beyond mere merchandise into objects worthy of contemplation. The strategic placement of illuminated spheres throughout the space creates multiple focal points that guide visitor circulation while establishing a visual vocabulary of pure geometric forms that echoes the organic curves of the bathing vessels themselves. The fluted column in contrasting burgundy introduces an element of classical reference while grounding the otherwise floating pink composition with vertical emphasis. One might observe how the designer has orchestrated the relationship between architectural container and displayed object, ensuring that the bold environmental statement enhances rather than overwhelms the products themselves through careful attention to scale, proximity, and chromatic relationship. Viewers are invited to consider how color, light, and spatial organization work together to transform commercial necessity into aesthetic opportunity.
The idea of the stand refers to the Mineral Composite technology, the material from which the client's products are made of. Mineral Composite is a combination of dolomite and flexible resin. The Dolomites have formed about 250 million years ago as a result of volcanic activity. Then, under pressure and high temperature, the limestone layers turned into dolomite. Designers focused on dolomite because the rock that was formed millions of years ago is transforming into a beautiful and functional product and it is amazing to see the power of nature.
