Fushan Ecological Greenway Design by Tengyuan Design emerges as a distinguished exemplar of contemporary landscape architecture that seamlessly negotiates the dialogue between constructed intervention and pristine natural environment, representing a sophisticated evolution in ecological recreational infrastructure. The project demonstrates a profound understanding of how architectural gesture might enhance rather than diminish the experience of wilderness, employing a structural language that appears both technically rigorous and poetically responsive to its mountainous context. The observation tower's weathering steel framework, which develops its distinctive oxidized patina through natural processes, suggests a thoughtful material philosophy wherein the built structure participates in the same temporal rhythms as the surrounding forest. The multi-tiered configuration of viewing platforms creates a vertical promenade that invites visitors to experience the landscape from progressively elevated vantage points, each level offering distinct relationships with the tree canopy and distant horizons. The suspended bridge element extends this experiential journey into horizontal procession, enabling passage through the forest crown at a height that transforms one's perception of the familiar act of walking through nature. The design comes from the pinecone that can be seen everywhere on Fushan Mountain, which means rebirth and hope. Two paths to satisfy different people. The steps of the inner ring are suitable for a fast pass, and the ramps of the outer ring are suitable for strolling and sightseeing. The two paths converge on the viewing platform at the top, where people can enjoy a wonderful 360 degree visual experience. The project adopts renewable materials, low carbon technology, and assembly technology, which fully reflects the design concept of green, ecological, and open.
