Home and Fashion Instyle Exhibition Space

Silver A' Design Award Winner 2025

Hong Kong Trade Development Council's Home and Fashion Instyle Exhibition Space represents a distinguished achievement in contemporary exhibition design, demonstrating how spatial environments can simultaneously communicate brand identity, facilitate commercial exchange, and create memorable sensory experiences for international audiences, the installation appears to draw upon multiple design traditions including the warm materiality associated with Nordic craft movements and the vibrant chromatic sensibilities found in global artisanal markets, particularly evident in the striking display of pigment powders that evokes both the spice bazaars of ancient trade routes and contemporary color theory pedagogy, the architectural language employs a sophisticated dialogue between two complementary pavilion structures, one framed in bold warm tones suggesting energy and discovery, the other in natural timber suggesting domestic comfort and refined taste, this duality may reference the exhibition's dual focus on home goods and fashion, creating distinct yet unified experiential zones, the backdrop of repeating circular forms in graduated purple tones creates an almost hypnotic visual field that simultaneously suggests technological innovation and organic growth patterns, perhaps referencing the intersection of traditional craft and contemporary manufacturing that characterizes much of the exhibiting region's commercial identity, botanical elements are integrated with exceptional sensitivity, softening architectural edges while reinforcing themes of natural beauty, sustainable practice, and the increasingly important biophilic dimensions of contemporary lifestyle products, the processional blue carpet functions both practically as wayfinding and symbolically as threshold marker, inviting visitors to transition from convention center anonymity into curated brand experience, visitors might contemplate how such exhibition environments shape our understanding of products before any individual item is encountered, and how architectural atmosphere itself becomes a form of communication about quality, creativity, and cultural values.

Home In-style was an annual event provided buyers with a diverse array of lifestyle and innovative products. The Cultural and Creative Corner was introduced with three thematic zones: craftsman mixology, surrealism and sustenance, showcased distinct lifestyle styles and different events. Fashion In-style showcased different fabric and collection through the unique hall design and decoration, together with mini parade for fashion shows, offering a timeless and cozy show experience for international designers.
